We had the great opportunity to create a community meeting space in the Old Hardware Emporium Building in Historical Downtown Loomis. Unopened to the public for years, there were no functional bathrooms, ADA problems, ect., and it was our vision to reopen and serve the community as the Old Hardware Store did for so many years, albeit in a different way. That is, folks that grew up in the area remembered how The Old Hardware Store was a place to see neighbors, grab a simple bolt or screw, or buy a gumball from the gumball machine. It was a friendly meeting spot.
With that in mind, we invited folks back into the space to hold their own special family moments and have a place for local organizations to meet.
It has been an honor to share the space with hundreds of families, guests and even a few churches. Thank you!
